Traffic Restrictions Update

The following is a partial list of road construction projects and traffic restrictions taking place in Scottsdale Nov. 5 – Nov. 15. For more information, contact: adechance@ScottsdaleAz.gov
INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD BETWEEN DRINKWATER & HAYDEN
As progress continues on the Indian School Road improvement project, the following restrictions will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15 through 18 as crews pave the intersections with rubberized asphalt:
**North and southbound traffic on Drinkwater Boulevard will be stopped for 15 to 20 minutes while paving occurs and the rubberized asphalt dries.
**North and southbound traffic on 75th Street will be stopped for 15 to 20 minutes while paving occurs and the rubberized asphalt dries.
**Southbound traffic on Parkway will be stopped for 15 to 20 minutes while paving occurs and the rubberized asphalt dries.
**Northbound traffic on Kalamara will be stopped for 15 to 20 minutes while paving occurs and the rubberized asphalt dries.
**North and southbound on 78th Street will be stopped for 15 to 20 minutes while paving occurs and the rubberized asphalt dries.
Traffic will continue to be restricted to one lane in each direction on Indian School between Hayden Road and Drinkwater Boulevard.
The restrictions are necessary to permit work on a project to improve traffic flow and install underground utilities, drainage systems, bike lanes, landscaping, pedestrian improvements, streetlights and other improvements.

INTERSECTION OF MILLER AND CAMELBACK ROADS
The intersection of Miller and Camelback roads will be restricted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 13 as follows:
**The northbound curb lane of Miller Road will be restricted from Indian School to Camelback roads.
**Camelback Road will be restricted westbound from Miller to 73rd Street.

RESTRICTIONS IN AREA OF 100TH STREET, FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT & THOMPSON PEAK PARKWAY
The area of 100th Street, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Thompson Peak Parkway and Redfield Road will have various restrictions for utility work from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 2. Lane restrictions will change as crews move through the area. Please drive with care and be attentive to north, south and westbound lane restrictions.

90TH STREET FROM VIA LINDA TO LOOP 101
A sewer installation project will restrict traffic on 90th Street from Via Linda to Loop 101 through the mid November as follows:
**North and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on 90th Street
**Only one left-turn lane will be open at Via Linda and 90th Street (westbound to southbound)
**Only one right-turn lane will be open on the northbound Loop 101 off ramp

THUNDERBIRD ROAD BETWEEN 92ND AND 96TH STREETS
Utility work near Thunderbird Road will restrict southbound travel on both on 92nd and 96th streets through Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition, the westbound curb lane on Sweetwater will be closed during this time as well.

RESTRICTIONS ON SCOTTSDALE ROAD
**North and southbound lane restrictions will be in place on Scottsdale Road & Cheney (south of McCormick Parkway) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 13.
**The southbound curb lane of Scottsdale Road will be closed at Cactus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Nov. 17.
**Scottsdale Road and Thomas will be restricted in all directions nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Nov. 20 for installation of water and sewer lines.

UTILITY WORK
The following road segments will have restrictions for utility work:
**Cactus Road will be restricted westbound between Scottsdale Road and 84th Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. though Nov. 11.
**The northbound curb lane on Hayden Road will be restricted between Cholla and Cactus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Nov. 11.
**The southbound curb lane of 136th Street between Shea and Via Linda will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 12.
**The westbound curb lane of Shea Blvd will be closed from 130th to 136th streets from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 12.
**The westbound curb lane of Indian School Road will be restricted at Granite Reef from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 14 for intersection repaving.
**Hayden Road will be restricted northbound and the sidewalk closed between Bell Road and Princess Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Nov. 20.
**The intersection of Miller & Roosevelt will have southbound traffic shifted into the northbound travel lanes from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 20.
**Princess Drive will have various restrictions westbound between Loop 101 and Hayden Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 2
**Redfield Road will be restricted west and southbound from 96th Street to Thompson Peak Parkway from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 2.
