Thunderbird Road Between Hayden and 87th Street
UPDATED - JULY 2009
Over the past few months Transportation staff has been working with various other city departments to coordinate the restriping of Thunderbird Road between Hayden Road and 87th Street to its original layout. (Two six foot bike lanes and 2 sixteen foot travel lanes with a double yellow stripe down the middle of the road from Hayden to 81st Street, and single, dashed yellow stripes from 81st Street east.)

Currently, the developer at Cavallo Estates is working in the street and there are sections of Thunderbird Road under construction that affect the restriping process. We are working with the developer’s contractor to coordinate the best time for completing the restripe, once the contractor is finished with their work in the street. Unfortunately, it could be between three and six months before the restriping is complete.
