Larkspur Drive 94th to 96th Street - Neighborhood Traffic Calming Project
The City of Scottsdale Transportation Department has been working with residents on Larkspur Drive from 94th Street to 96th Street to address speeding traffic concerns.
UPDATE - The Transportation Commission approved funding for construction of this project Thursday, May 21, 2009. Click here to see a copy of the presentation.
The neighborhood traffic management plan consists of a series of three raised median islands on Larkspur Drive from 94th Street to 96th Street. Raised median islands are approximately 10 feet wide by 50 feet long and are landscaped. They can close speeds by breaking up the visual straight stretch of roadway and narrow the traffic lanes at the device.
