Sand Bags

The City provides sandbags free of charge to citizens in emergency situations. Usually when storms are forcasted.

Bags are located at the Guard House at the City's Corporation Yard facility at
9191 E. San Salvador.  Major cross streets are Via Linda and 91st Street.

 

Call (480) 312-5620 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM with questions

Call the Police Department at (480) 312-5000 after 4:00 PM in an emergency situation
Sandbags are usually pre-filled.  Occasionally it may be necessary for citizens to fill the bags themselves. Be sure to bring your own shovel.
