| Description: The City of Scottsdale’s youth sports programs are offered year round for 4th-8th grade youth. Participants play for a team representing their school. The program is offered at all Scottsdale Public Schools, and OLPH. Practices are held 2 days per week, after school on the school grounds and are determined by the coach prior to the first week of practice. Games are held on Saturdays. All coaches are trained and certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. Basic fundamentals, positive peer interaction and good sportsmanship are the foundation for the Youth Sports program. Coach determines which 2-Days per week the team will practice. |

League Format:
full court, age appropriate, teaching the basic FUNdamentals
League Fees:
$56 Residents, $84 Non-Residents
Jersey Fee is included in the price of the program.
Jersey can be used for all Youth Sports leagues.
Basketball Clinic 2010:
Youth Sports offers a Basketball Day Camp for grades 4th-8th. This camp allows athletes an opportunity to work on their skills & knowledge of the game prior to the season beginning.
