Adult Basketball
Description
City of Scottsdale offers four seasons of adult basketball. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter 5-on-5. The 5-on-5 Spring, Summer and Fall leagues play two nights a week; Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday depending on team preference. The Winter league plays Sundays only.
NEXT Registration
Summer 2012 Registration will be May 10th for Residents online and May 11th for Non-Residents online. League play will begin the week of June 4th, 2012.
NOTE- There will be no games played on July 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th due to floor resurfacing.
Online Registration
To register online you need a credit card, team account, and two account codes. Other forms of payment, such as a check, must be applied to your account prior to registration. To submit a different form of payment in advance, or to verify your team account information, please call the Sports office at 480-312-0227.IMPORTANT: Registration will not be final without complete roster information and successful payment. All major credit cards are accepted. The 2-page Team Information packet must be completed and turned in every season to the Adult Sports office by the Friday after online registration to be considered for league placement. Completed packets can be faxed to 480-312-9156, emailed to adultsports@scottsdaleaz.gov, or dropped off at the Adult Sports Office at Chaparral Park (5401 N. Hayden Road). Failure to comply with any or all terms of registration will result in team elimination.
League Dates: Begins the week of June 4th, 2012.
League Format: 10 league games / Post Season single elimination tournament
League Fee: $495.00 per team
