Summer Programs

Summer Programs (summer camp)Parks and Recreation summer camps offer dynamic, enriching recreational opportunities for youth. The activities conducted in the camps will contribute to the physical, social and mental growth of each participant. We look forward to seeing your child this summer!

 

General Information
  • All camps start June 3.
  • Camps are closed on July 4. Some camps will be closed July 1-5.
  • Registration for Scottsdale residents begins April 24.
  • Registration for non-residents of Scottsdale begins May 1.
  • All participants must wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and bring their own lunch (unless listed otherwise).
  • Youth must be the appropriate age by the first day of each session.
  • All camps are drop-in format and are not licensed child care programs.
  • Limited financial assistance is available to Scottsdale residents. Please click here for more information.

Parent Information
Please review both materials below. The parent packet must be filled out and submitted to the appropriate camp before your child can attend.

Fun, Fitness, and Friends
4-5 year olds. Each Day your little camper learns how to grow strong bodies and brains through fitness activities, arts & crafts, songs, stories, nutritious snacks, recreation, group games and creative play.

Youth Camps
Grades 1-5, as of Fall 2013. Youth will participate in sports and fitness activities, arts & crafts, science experiments, and group games. There will be excursions and special events days.

Youth Sports Camps
Grades 1-8 as of Fall 2013. This is a high energy sports and activity camp, in a fun environment.

Teen Camps
Grades 6-8, as of Fall 2013. Teen programs offer dynamic and enriching recreational opportunities while providing your teen with a safe, comfortable and fun atmosphere to express themselves, meet others, and be physically active.
