The City of Scottsdale offer a variety of health and wellness programs to senior adults. 

Blood Pressure Screenings: 
Offered at Granite Reef Senior Center and Via Linda Senior Center, volunteers provide screenings on a weekly basis.  No appointment is necessary.  The blood pressure screening schedule is printed on the first day of every month.   Please call the Granite Reef Senior Center or Via Linda Senior Center for this month's current schedule.

Flu Shot Clinics:
The Granite Reef Senior Center and Via Linda Senior Center offer flu shot clinics every year in October and November.  The clinics are provided by the Art Mollen Clinic.  For the clinic schedule, Please call the Granite Reef Senior Center or Via Linda Senior Center for the  schedule.

Hearing Evaluations
Hearing evaluations are sponsored by Audiology and Hearing Aid Inc. and Avada.  This program provides basic hearing exams, and small hearing aid repairs on site free of charge.  Call today for an appointment.

Hearing Technology Demonstrations
Hearing Technology demonstrations are sponsored by the Valley Center for the Deaf.   This program provides education and resources regarding assistive hearing devices, including low cost hearing aids.  Call today for an appointment.

Medi-Loan Program
The Granite Reef Senior Center in conjunction with Concerned Citizens for Community Health provides medical equipment such as canes, crutches, walkers, shower benches, and wheel chairs to Scottsdale residents for a small monthly rental donation fee. Most items are $5 per month, although wheelchairs are $10. If you cannot afford the nominal donation, however, the fee can be waived.  Call  312-1700 to learn if we have the medical equipment you need.

Vision Screenings: 
Sponsored by Dr. Gail Bass, vision screenings are provided at the Via Linda Senior Center.  This service provides an eye exam, glaucoma screening, and Macular Degeneration screening.  All services are free of charge.  Call today for an appointment.
