Classes
The Scottsdale Senior Centers offer a variety of computer classes and programs. Classes include Introductory classes; Intro to Computers and Internet for beginning users and advanced classes such as Skype, Photoshop Elements and Social Media for proficient computer users. Both the Granite Reef and Via Linda Senior Centers offer a wide variety - check them out today and keep up with technology and your grandkids! Computer Lab Volunteers
The City of Scottsdale computer labs utilize many volunteers to help in the operation and instruction of classes and workshops at the senior centers. These dedicated volunteers have extensive knowledge and training for instructing and assisting students enrolled in these classes. To become a computer lab volunteer call 480-312-5810.
Open Labs
Open computer lab times are offered to provided the public with opportunities to utilize the city's computer equipment at your own pace. Generally, open lab times are staffed by volunteers. Open labs are offered at the following facilities:
Paiute Neighborhood Center
Tuesdays, from 9:30 to 11:30 am
Granite Reef Senior CenterWednesdays & Fridays, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
