Update - August 2007

Night-Time Dirt Haul for One Scottsdale Project

Dump trucks will be operating from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights, to begin the process of excavating dirt for the One Scottsdale mixed-use project located on the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and the Loop 101. The night-time requirement is in place to minimize disruption of day-time traffic. Approximately 100,000 cubic yards of dirt will be moved in the first phase excavation of this project.

 

Project Plans and review status

Master Plans:

  • Water, wastewater and drainage master plans are approved
  • Environmental design & transportation master plans are currently under review
  • Development Review Board submittal for Master Environmental Design Concept Plan (MEDCP) approved on March 2, 2006.
  • Case Number 1-DR-2006

Project Construction:

  • Project is expecting to break ground in late 2006
  • Construction will occur in phases with the first phase opening in the fall of 2008

Infrastructure Overview

Design report for Scottsdale (101 to Thompson Peak Parkway) is proceeding Design of Center Drive from Hayden to Scottsdale has reached 90% completion. Design concept report for the north freeway access road between Scottsdale and Hayden is approaching completion.
