Amenities

Pinnacle Peak Park was established to preserve the natural environment of Pinnacle Peak and to provide educational opportunities for park patrons. The park trailhead contains the following amenities.
  • Trailhead office, equipped with a variety of informational, reference and educational materials.

  •  Interpretive displays describing the geology, history, archaeology, flora and fauna at the trail entrance.

  •  Public restrooms and drinking fountain.

  •  50-space parking lot and 4 horse trailer spaces.

  •  Horse hitching rail and water trough.

  •  Bicycle rack.

  •  Four picnic tables and a shade ramada.

  • Constructed and signed shared-use non-motorized trail that is 4-6 feet wide, 1.75 miles one way, and rated as moderate hike. There are two rest areas with benches and interpretive signs.

  • Designated and signed rock climbing access routes and areas. Signs are posted indicating use limits of rock climbing areas.

  • Directional, informational, and interpretive signage in parking area and along trail as appropriate.
