Plan your Fall with Scottsdale Parks and Rec

Fall is a wonderful time of year in Scottsdale! With the weather cooling down, Scottsdale Parks and Recreation is excited to offer a variety of programs, classes, camps and activities for the entire family.

Fall Classes start Soon
Don't forget to register! Fall classes begin in early September. Classes with room available include art, dance, fitness, yoga and more!

Fall Break Camps
Don't sit home over fall break! Join us for games, sports, arts, crafts and more. Camps are offered at Horizon and Mountain View Community Centers, $80 for the week. We provide a morning and afternoon snack, please bring lunch and a drink.

Cool at the Pool
Fall swim lessons start soon! Now is the time to sharpen your skills. Visit and search "Swim Lessons"links to external site to find the right class for you.  Registration ends soon, so don' wait!

Dunkin for Pumpkins is our floating pumpkin patch! Join us Oct. 29, from 1 - 3 p.m. at McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center. $10 pays for your admission and for your pumpkin! Register online at, search 'Dunkin for Pumpkinslinks to external site.'

Youth Cross Country - New!
This exciting new cross country running program meets twice a week and includes 1 time trial and two races.
Dates: Oct. 2 - Dec. 2, 2017 (no practice Oct. 31 or Nov. 23)
Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Chaparral Park, Central Ramada
Cost: $80 - includes shirt, waterbottle, race refreshments
Age Range: 3 - 8th grade (as of Fall 2017 school year)
