About

Thunderbird Park is a 10-acre park that has a playground, picnic areas, a small ramada, 2 lighted tennis courts, a lighted basketball full court, a lighted sand volleyball court, soccer fields, and restroom.  If you would like to use the drop-in tennis courts, there are additional rules that apply.
 

Facility Allocation Policy

Youth Sports Organizations that meet the Facility Allocation Policy and Fee Waiver Form (pdf/284kb/9pp) guidelines may reserve the baseball, softball, and soccer fields by calling (480) 312-2365 or (480) 312-7968.

Reservation Information

This park is available on a first come, first served basis. No individual reservations are accepted or required.  However, if you are planning to have moon bounces, catered food, or another specialty item at your park use, please call our Facility Booking office at (480) 312-7707, to ensure that the company you are renting from has adequate insurance to use our city parks.
