Horizon Park is a 24-acre park that has 1 large and 2 small ramadas, 4 lighted softball fields, 1 full and 2 half basketball courts, 5 sand volleyball courts (5 lighted, 4 reservable), 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, restroom, and an Off Leash Area.  If you would like to use the drop-in tennis courts, there are additional rules that apply.  A 15,000 square foot Community Center has 2 classrooms, a teen center, and a multi-purpose room with a stage and kitchen.

Facility Allocation Policy

Youth Sports Organizations that meet the Facility Allocation and Fee Waiver Form (pdf/284kb/9pp) guidelines may reserve the baseball, softball, and soccer fields by calling Chris Thom at (480) 312-7968.

Reservation Information

Horizon's Community Center can be used for business meetings, conferences, training, wedding receptions, retirement, anniversary and birthday celebrations.  The outdoor amenities are ideal for company picnics, family gatherings, volleyball and softball tournaments.  For facility reservations, please call the Facility Booking office at (480) 312-7707. 

Programs at Horizon Community Center

• Afterschool program for elementary school age children daily from school release time-6pm when school is in session
• Teen program for young people in 6th, 7th and 8th grade from school release time-6pm when school is in session
• Horizon Total Recreation Enrichment Summer Camps for 1st-5th grade
• Summer Club 678 for teens entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade
