Fall Festival 2013 presented by Sears Vacations

Costume ContestReady for some sweet treats?  Join the public for a FREE safe and fun evening on Saturday, October 26, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the South Eldorado ball field, 1909 N. Miller Rd (Map). 

Take a trip through the Haunted Forest, win candy at the game booths, enter into one of the many competitions for costumes and decorating pumpkins!  End the evening with a bang by staying for our fireworks show!

Parking is available at Coronado High School on the corner of Miller Rd and Oak St.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Do you feel that you’re the next Picasso when it comes to pumpkin carving?  Entry is free and open to all!  Pumpkins will be judged in three categories including best overall, most creative, and scariest.

All pumpkins are to be dropped off at Eldorado Park Ball Fields the day of the event between 4-7 p.m. Pumpkin winners will be announced between 7:30-8 p.m.

If you will like to take your pumpkin home after the contest please pick up by before 9pm at the information booth.FallFestival

Entry Rules

  • The main part of each entry must be a pumpkin.
  • Pumpkins can be carved, painted, hollowed out.
  • Pumpkins and props must not exceed 2ft x 2ft.
  • No electrical devices may be used as part of entry.
  • Each entry must have a title, name, and phone number.

Costume Contest

There will be three age groups for this year's costume contest.  They will be judged on Cutest, Scariest and Most Creative.  The schedule will be:

  • 7 and under - 6:10 and 7:35 p.m.
  • 8 - 12 year olds - 6:35 and 7:55 p.m.
  • 13 - 17 year olds - 6:55 and 8:15 p.m.

There will also be a family costume contest (dogs not included).  This will take place at 7:15 p.m.

The dog costume contest will be held at 8:35 p.m.  There will not be separate large and small dog categories.
