About...
Horizon Park is a 24-acre park that has 1 large and 2 small ramadas, 4 lighted softball fields, 1 full and 2 half basketball courts, 5 sand volleyball courts (5 lighted, 2 reservable), 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, restroom, and an Off Leash Area. A 15,000 square foot Community Center has 2 classrooms, a teen center, and a multi-purpose room with stage and kitchen.
Drop-in tennis courts have additional rules.
Youth Sports Organizations that meet the Field Allocation Policy (pdf, 34KB, 4 pages) guidelines may reserve the baseball, softball, and soccer fields by calling (480) 312-2365 or (480) 312-7968.
Horizon's Community Center can be used for business meetings, conferences, training, wedding receptions, retirement, anniversary and birthday celebrations. The outdoor amenities are ideal for company picnics, family gatherings, volleyball and softball tournaments. For facility reservations, please call the Facility Booking office at (480) 312-7707.
Programs offered at the Horizon Community Center are:
- Afterschool program for elementary age children daily when school is in session
- Teen program for young people 12-16 years of age Friday evenings from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
- Intersession camp programs during school breaks
- Horizon Sports and Fun Summer Camps
