Included in our program is information on how to assemble a supplies kit that contains food, water, and other supplies in sufficient quantities for families to be more self-reliant following a disaster. **A student version of this is also available.
  • Child Safety Topics - Car seats, drowning prevention and heat safety (kids in hot cars) are among the topics offered to help parents and caregivers understand steps to keep kids safe.  Presentations for pre-school and elementary school-aged children about fire, water or transportation safety can be requested, as well.
  • Wildland Fire Prevention - Each year, Scottsdale braces for the potential for wildland fires, which are fed by dried grasses and flash fuels. This class covers what homeowners, communities and HOA's can do to help prevent wildfires from damaging property.
