This Environmentally Responsible Building class (BLT 140) offers an overview of sustainable building. It introduces design concepts and strategies related to the mitigation of environmental impacts. The class also examines the building process in relation to environmental issues and the interdependent nature of human development. Topics include human impacts, climate and geography, sustainability, renewable energies, water use and energy, resource efficiency, building materials, indoor air quality and waste reduction
