June 16, 2011 7 to 8:30 pm Granite Reef Senior Center	Water and Sun in the Desert Setting - Techniques and Technology for Desert Conditions Hot water from the sun - low cost, low tech heating and cooling using the sun and water; solar distillation for potable water; and much more. What it is; how to incorporate it into your lives.
July 21, 2011 7 to 8:30 pm Granite Reef Senior Center	Clean American Transportation and Valley of the Sun Applications This lecture will focus on: Myths and applications of Clean American Fuels. Clean Fuel vehicles options and availability - present and future. What Scottsdale is doing to advance energy savings programs and equipment both within the City operations and with citizens. Lessons for every other valley community. How individuals can incorporate effective and appropriate energy resource actions, Clean Fuels and effective transportation into their lives while improving health and environmental conditions in the Valley and their own communities.

October 20, 2011 7 to 8:30 pm Granite Reef Senior Center	Designing/Retrofitting for energy efficiency and solar go hand in hand. Come hear about an on-going action and experiment to retrofit and deploy solar technology in a quest to get to net zero grid energy usage in an existing Phoenix home while still passing the marital bliss test. Mick Dalrymple’s knowledge, experience, and insights provide Arizonans a great resource of trusted information in incorporating solar and sustainability into our own lives in a real world scenario. Come listen, learn and even laugh a little. This will be a great lead-in to the upcoming Valley Tour of Solar and Sustainability which occurs the following weekend - Oct. 22, 23.
