Outreach Events

During late January and early February, a group of Scottsdale citizens came together to develop a draft vision statement for the city’s 2014 General Plan. The city now continues to meet with groups and citizens to gather feedback as this process progresses. View upcoming meetings here - as well as scroll back in time to see past meeting summaries.

Description:

Walk. Bike. Drive. Fly. Ride. No matter how you get here, we need you to join the conversation! What do you think about transit in Scottsdale? Does the city provide adequate support for biking and walking? How does growing traffic congestion affect quality of life? These are just some of the important discussions that will take place at a pair of “café conversations” that are part of the General Plan 2014 process. Participants will get a brief introduction on local transportation basics. They will then sit with other participants at a series of “café tables” to discuss various transportation questions. The resulting conversations will help to update the General Plan Transportation Element.

Additional Comments: Open to the public; refreshments served. Both sessions are the same content/presentation/material.
