Toys for Tots Wish List (pdf/216kb/1p)

Toys collected benefit the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program and Scottsdale's Paiute Neighborhood Center.

  • The US Marines Toys for Tots Program has a close working relationship with many local social welfare agencies, church groups, and community agencies. Each year, donated toys are sorted at a central warehouse and distributed to needy children.
  • Paiute Neighborhood Center collaborates with several agencies and organizations to provide programs for people of all ages and cultures. More than 500 families made up of more than 1000 children were served by the Paiute Toy Program in 2010! The families in the Paiute Toy Program fall below the Federal Poverty Line and are Scottsdale residents. These children and teens would not receive a gift for the holidays without support from our community.

Can a fire truck come to my charity/holiday event?
Scottsdale Fire Department receives a large number of requests for participation in community events, safety fairs and fundraisers. However, a limited number of resources may be dedicated to these types of events. Scheduling requests should be made a minimum of 30 days in advance by calling Patty Jo Angelini at 480-312-1815 or sending an email to pangelini@ScottsdaleAZ.gov.

Can SFD pick up toys collected at a work or community event?
With advance notice, may be able to coordinate with our benefitting agencies and/or SFD volunteers to pick up boxes of donated toys. To schedule a pick up, please call 480-312-1815 or send an email with the event date, time, and location to pangelini@scottsdaleaz.gov. You may also drop off toys collected at any fire station or the Police & Fire Headquarters Building.

Does SFD accept cash or food donations?
It is preferred that cash donations are made directly to the Toys for Tots Program or Paiute Community Center (see contact information below). Non-perishable food items can be donated to the Vista Del Camino Food Bank at 7700 E. Roosevelt Street, Scottsdale.

What's the best time to drop off my donation?
Fire Stations are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we encourage you to try to stop by during regular city business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When you arrive, please ring the door bell and/or knock on the station door to alert the firefighters you are there to make a donation. If there is no answer, crews may be responding to an emergency call, participating in an event, or training off-site. You may try waiting a few minutes or stopping by at a later time. It is not advised that you leave the toys by the door or in an unsecured area.

The Police & Fire Headquarters building located at 8401 E. Indian School Road is staffed 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Donations can be dropped off in the main lobby, located on the north side of the building facing Indian School Road.
