In less than 90-minutes, you can learn how to save the life of a loved one, coworker or a stranger in cardiac arrest by attending a free presentation on the new CPR technique called Continuous Chest Compressions (CCC).
This new technique is easy, safe, and does not require mouth-to-mouth contact. CCC takes only minutes to learn, is easy to perform and can dramatically improve a person’s chance of surviving a heart attack.
Since June 2008, more than 2,000 people have attended this free lifesaving training offered by Scottsdale Fire Department.
The next free community workshop on the new CCC resuscitation technique will be held from 9:30 – 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at Granite Reef Senior Center (1700 N. Granite Reef Road).
Come learn from Scottsdale Fire Department staff and volunteers how to respond to a cardiac emergency including important tips for calling 911, performing chest compressions, and how to use an AED.
To register or for a listing of upcoming classes, visit http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/fire/CCC-CPR.asp or call 480-312-8000.
Please note: No CPR certification cards will be issued at these presentations.
