Learn from Scottsdale Fire Department how to save the life of a loved one, coworker or a stranger in cardiac arrest by using a new CPR technique called Continuous Chest Compressions (CCC).
This new technique is easy, safe, and does not require mouth to mouth contact. CCC can dramatically improve a person’s chance of surviving a heart attack.
Scottsdale Fire Department staff will teach you how to respond to a cardiac emergency including important tips for calling 911, performing chest compressions, and how to use an AED. No certification cards will be issued at these presentations.
Two FREE community presentations are scheduled:
- 7 - 8 pm, Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at the Horizon Community Center, located at 15444 N. 100th Street.
- 7 - 8 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn; 7400 E. Osborn Rd., main floor conference room
