More than a year ago, Fashion Square Mall began the demolition of the former Robinson's-May building and adjacent parking garage to make room for a mall expansion and Barney's New York - which is slated to open in the fall of 2009. The mall expansion of approximately 100,000 square feet will allow 25 to 30 new retailers to join the Fashion Square's lineup of fine retail shops.
