Mission
This section provides for the accurate and timely billing of City of Scottsdale water, sewer, and solid waste accounts; assists customers in applying for and discontinuing utility service; and responds to customer inquiries and disputes regarding their city utility accounts.
About Us
Utility Billing is responsible for billing and maintaining 86,000 accounts monthly for all combinations of water, sewer and solid waste services including local taxes and environmental fees. Utility Billing also handles requests to stop and start service, answers customer inquiries concerning their accounts and makes billing adjustments as necessary through research. During FY 2005/2006, Utility Billing handled over 137,000 telephone calls and serviced over 2,100 customers in person.
