Mission
This section provides processing and deposit of all payments and accompanying documentation for the Customer Service Division. It manages the retention, retrieval and destruction of division documents through imaging, microfiche, filing and off and on-site storage.

About Us
Remittance Processing Records Management is responsible for processing and depositing all payments received through mail, electronically, faxed from payment vendors, over the telephone, automated voice response or in person at our two Customer Service locations. Between these two locations, 22,593 walk-in customers were served in 2005. During the same time period, this workgroup processed 1,276,722 payment transactions amounting to over $295 million dollars in revenue. Payments processed include city water, sewer and solid waste bills, Transaction Privilege (Sales) Taxes, a variety of license/permit fees and false alarm fees. This section is also responsible for the management of division documentation and records. Documents are imaged for online storage and retrieval.
