The City Council will receive an update on the 74th Street property at its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26 2011. The meeting agenda can be found here in the "2011 Agendas" folder, and the Council Report can be downloaded by clicking on Item #22 of the agenda.
Two proposals for the 74th Street property have been received and are available for downloading below. Note that the Global Entertainment proposal is broken into two sections due to the large file size.

An open house was held on October 25 to give the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposals. Additional comments can be submitted via email to MHunsberger@ScottsdaleAZ.gov .
Request for Proposals
74th Street South of McDowell Road
The City of Scottsdale is seeking proposals from experienced developers for the possible development of City-owned land on 74th Street south of McDowell Road in the Los Arcos Redevelopment Area in Scottsdale. The site includes approximately 3.73 acres immediately east of SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center.
The City is seeking proposals to develop or redevelop the site in a way that contributes to the revitalization of the McDowell Road corridor, provides benefits to the City and community, and advances the plans for SkySong and the surrounding neighborhoods. Proposers are encouraged to evaluate the potential of this site on its own, or in combination with neighboring privately-owned properties.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to potentially identify a project and development team to develop or redevelop the site. The City Council will make the determination as to which proposal, if any, the City will pursue. The City reserves the right to not proceed with any of the proposals, and to withdraw the site from consideration.
Responses to the RFP will be due on October 1, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. After the submittal deadline, all submissions will be considered public documents and made available to the public. Questions asked at the July 30 pre-proposal conference are provided in the Resources section below. No additional questions were submitted before the August 6 deadline.
A public open house will be held in the fall to review the submissions prior to Council action. Comments and questions may be sent to Mark Hunsberger at MHunsberger@ScottsdaleAZ.gov
