When can I see a Judge?

Refer to the Hours section to see walk-in hours.

It is not always necessary to see a judge. Many questions can be answered by Scottsdale City Court Representatives, but they are not allowed to give legal advice, only general information as it relates to the case.

Walk-in Hours

Civil Courtrooms
Monday - Friday, 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m.

Criminal Courtrooms
Monday - Friday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30pm - 4:30pm.

  • Motion to quash
  • Motion for new Confinement Order
    • (Home Detention and Electronic Monitoring included)

Protective Orders
Monday - Friday, 8-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-5 p.m.
To include only the following:

  • New Protective Order Petition Filings
  • Injunction Against Harassment
  • Injunction Against Workplace Harassment
  • Plaintiff Motions to Quash or Modify a Protective Order

Court Hours

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 .p.m
Closed on city holidays

Except the first and third Wednesday of each month, open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
