Civil Dialogue Series - “The People's History: An O’Otham Perspective” - You are invited to the first of this season's Civil Dialogue Series, held Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. in the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Featured panelist Shannon Rivers is a respected advocate, humanitarian, and proud member of the Gila River Indian Community.  This program is a preview of the discussion that will provide Scottsdale citizens a glimpse into the livelihood and culture of the Gila River and Salt River Indian communities.

Logan LaPlante - "Hackschooling Makes Me Happy" - Meet 14 year-old Logan LaPlante. When he grows up, he wants to be happy and healthy. Logan has used a mashup of learning he terms “hackschooling,” gaining hands-on-skills with diverse internships. As the keynote speaker in this year's Innovation Arizona Summit held in Scottsdale, he summarized his philosophy of “hackschooling.”

Scottsdale City Council Candidate Forum (LIVE) - Candidates running for Scottsdale City Council answer questions in a 90-minute election forum hosted by Scottsdale Leadership.

Small Business Series - This is a series of presentations for the Scottsdale business community presented by the City of Scottsdale Economic Development Department. Please join the Scottsdale Business Services Department to learn about the new tax simplification process and the many changes that will impact your business in 2015. Some of the changes covered during this presentation will be the new online portal and auditing.
