Scottsdale Pride Commission
The Scottsdale City Council “decommissioned” the Scottsdale Pride Commission Tuesday November 1, 2011. Members of the former commission are working to incorporate the group as a 501c3, to be named, Keep Scottsdale Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. The city fully supports this effort and sees the value of an ongoing partnership.
The group is looking for residents interested in becoming founding members of the impending 501c3.
Former member John Day says, “We’re looking for a dynamic group of board members interested in growing the tradition of education and collective action to sustain a better quality of life for all.” Day also serves on the Board of Directors for Keep Arizona Beautiful.
