The Planning Committee is a committee of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission and is advisory to the commission. The committee’s charge is to develop recommendations on further City actions needed to create and manage the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

The committee does not have a regular meeting schedule. Meetings are scheduled when the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission assigns tasks to the committee or the committee chair determines that a meeting is necessary.
