McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission

The McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission consists of eleven (11) citizen members. The Commission, with the assistance of city staff, makes recommendations to the City Council on such items as: preservation strategy, funding, land acquisition, educational/promotional programs, master planning and other Preserve-related issues. The Commission reports to the City Council on a quarterly basis regarding progress and any specific requests from the council relating to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

Committees

The McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission has three committees. Information on those committees, including meeting dates/times and agendas/minutes are available by selecting the link to that committee.

Meeting Information

The Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month with the exception of the two months of July and August at 5:00 p.m.
Location varies.
