The Historic Register Committee is a subcommittee of the Historic Preservation Commission and is advisory to the commission. The committee develops, with staff and consultants, 1) recommendations on further City actions needed to nominate and recognize significant resources; 2) recommendations for a process to identify sites that are the best of the best of Scottsdale's Historic and Archaeological Resources; and 3) recommendations for maintaining and making additions to the local inventory of sites and districts.

Meeting Information
The committee does not have a regular meeting schedule. Meetings are scheduled when the Historic Preservation Commission assigns tasks to the committee or the committee chair determines that a meeting is necessary.
