CITY'S ADVANCE PLANNING OFFICE HAS A NEW LOOK.
Scottsdale's Community Design Studio, located at 7506 E. Indian School Road and home to the Advance Planning Division has modified the interior of the former church to provide additional office space. The exterior wall of the new office cubicles is also being utilized as a gallery space to showcase Advance Planning projects and processes.
Residents and community representatives are invited to visit the Design Studio to check out the new configuration and take a tour of the new displays/gallery area.

The Advance Planning division is responsible for the maintaining and updating the General Plan and coordinating key planning processes such as the Downtown Plan Update and the Community Area Planning process.
Historic Old Town Self-Guided Tour
Advance Planning assists Scottsdale Historical Society with creation of Old Town Poster. Over the past several months, the Advance Planning division has been working closely with the Scottsdale Historical Society to produce a Historic Old Town Poster that provides a pictorial self-guided tour of 14 historic properties in the Old Town area. The colorful poster, which features historic and present day photos of these sites, will be used to market the Old Town area and provide visitors with historical information.
The poster is displayed in the Old Town kiosk located at the entrance to Civic Center Mall at Main Street and Brown Ave. |
