The City’s Digital Plan Submittal and Review process is continually adding new plan types and information is subject to change.  Please check our website frequently for updates.  

Submittal Process

1. Complete an e-application online for permitting on the web

2. Follow the steps and record the application number for future reference.

3. Upload files and related attachments on the last page of the application.

4. A development services representative will e-mail you with a Plan Check number and keycode to access your project online.

5. Note: Application and plans will not be processed until payment is received.

Payment     

• Log In - enter your plan check number and keycode to pay fees by credit card
        

• Check and cash payments will be accepted at the One Stop Shop counter at
  7447 E. Indian School Rd., Ste. 100.

Plan Review/Permitting

• City staff will create a sheet within the DWF file for redlines; each layer will have the plan reviewers contact information. (PDF format for Signs only)

• Log In - enter your plan check number and keycode to download redlines/corrections

• The city will unlock the upload function of the digital submittal portal for resubmittals.  Log In - enter your plan check number and keycode to upload revisions.

• A representative will call or email you when all reviews are completed.

• Come into the One Stop Shop to obtain permits.

• Upon receipt of permit fees the city will upload approved plans as a PDF file.  **The City will retain original files as "read only" and will purge according to the standard records retention schedule.

• Log In - enter your plan check number and keycode to download the approved plans.

• Send plans to printer.  Print/Plot options to include pages and comments/markups; print in color.
