Large Project Permitting Checklist
In order to process your permits quickly and accurately the Development Services Representative will need the following:
A signed and approved Water and Sewer Needs Report from the city's Water
Department. If you have the form completed and need approval of if you have
questions, please contact Water Resources at 480-312-5685.
Complete the attached Permit Fee Matrix (xls / ) to indicate the building address(es)
and square footage(s). See Records Department for addressing.
The linear footage of all retaining walls and the linear footage of any fences over 36"
in total height.
EXAMPLE: Retaining wall = 356 linear feet; Fences over 36" = 457 linear feet
In order to obtain building permits for a new structure you must either obtain the
permits for the civil work at the same time or prior to the building.
