Large red signs (4'X4') with the heading
"Zoning/Public Hearings" are posted on property that is requesting a use permit,
rezoning or General Plan amendment. Use permits are required for certain applications such
as public schools, live entertainment, some wireless facilities and other uses not
specifically allowed in certain zoning districts. The sign is posted at least 15-30 days
prior to the date of the first public hearing. The signs remain posted until the final
City Council Hearing.
