Community Outreach
Have you ever wondered how Scottsdale Airport operates, what’s happening there now or it’s impact on the community? Now is your chance to find out!
Scottsdale Airport has a community outreach program specifically designed to answer questions for your group. Airport staff has been proactive in reaching out to the community, but now we are "taking it to the streets" by bringing the airport to you.
If you would like an airport speaker to engage your community organization, business association or school group, we have the program for you. Whether it's a quick 10-minute presentation or your group has an hour's worth of questions, do not hesitate to invite us to one of your future meetings.
Here are some examples of topics you may be interested in hearing about:
- Airport history
- Airport operations
- Airport/Airpark: What’s the difference
- What are the economic impacts of the airport
- What does the future hold
- What’s the airport doing to protect the community
- Aircraft noise and the FAR Part 150 Study
- Pilot/Airport User outreach program
If these topics do not interest your group, call us! With enough time we will do our best to customize a program JUST FOR YOUR GROUP! It is easy to schedule a speaker. You can call, email or write to make arrangements for your next meeting. For more information or to schedule a meeting, contact: Kate O'Malley, Aviation Planning & Outreach Coordinator, at (480) 312-8482.
