A.  Choose the right plants and water them appropriately.

Plants Have Different Water Needs
For example, water must penetrate deeper for tree roots than for shallow-rooted groundcovers. Recent transplants need more frequent watering than established plants. Desert-adapted species use less water than plants from non-arid regions.

Including an efficient drip irrigation system in your landscape plan will make it easy to apply the right amount of water.

Watering correctly is the best thing you can do to grow vigorous, problem free plants.
