Downtown One-Way Streets
A one-way traffic circulation plan is nearing the end of a month-long trial in Downtown Scottsdale. The trial circulation plan is taking place on Buckboard Trail, Shoeman Lane and Saddlebag Trail.
City staff will evaluate the impact of this change on traffic flow and wants to hear additional feedback and suggestions from directly affected local businesses and property owners before determining if the trial traffic changes will move forward.
If you would like to learn more about the circulation plan or provide input regarding the 30-day trial, please join us for a public meeting on:
Thursday, Oct. 3
4 to 6 p.m.
Community Design Studio
7506 E. Indian School Road
The one-way street concept is designed to significantly lessen "conflict points" and keep traffic moving. The pattern also is more efficient for emergency vehicles, providing an additional travel lane to pass stopped traffic. (Click here for larger map)
