The Scottsdale Police detectives and patrol officers have been working round the clock to get this suspect identified and arrested. We would like to thank the members of the community and media who have come forward and provided us with information that has lead to his arrest.

The suspect’s crime spree started on May 14, when he exposed himself to an adult female victim in the Fry’s parking lot at 20427 N. Hayden Road. The female reported the incident and provided us with a suspect and vehicle description that remained constant through the rest of the investigation.

On May 15, just before 6:00am, near 108th Street and Monument Road, a victim reported to us that a male had exposed himself to her while she was out walking her dogs. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

We believe that the suspect is responsible for another indecent exposure that occurred on May 16 in Phoenix near Cave Creek and Union Hills. Phoenix PD is investigating that case.

On May 21, at 12:30 pm, a female victim reported to us that the suspect grabbed her buttocks while she was standing near her car in the Basha’s parking lot at 20745 N. Scottsdale Road. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.

Just after 6:00 pm the same day, the suspect attempted to abduct a 19 yr old female jogger near 1098place and Dynamite. During the assault, the suspect committed sexual abuse, fondling the victim, before she was able to escape. We believe that the suspect then drove to the Desert Ridge area and exposed himself to 13 yr old girl in a nearby Phoenix neighborhood. He then went to the Desert Ridge Marketplace mall and victimized two other adult females. These incidents were assaults and threats, where the suspect grabbed the females’ buttocks and threatened to “blow them up” if they didn’t lift their shirt. These incidents are being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department as well.

Later in the evening on May 21, the suspect went to the Fry’s store at 20427 N. Hayden Road, where he grabbed an adult female’s buttocks and threatened her in a similar way.

Our detectives were able to identify the suspect through victim and witness statements and reports of partial or full license plate numbers on May 21. Our surveillance officers were staking out his home when he left his house with his mother at about 7 pm last night.  The suspect was arrested without incident at a shopping center at Alma School/Dynamite.

Subsequent to his arrest, the suspect admitted involvement in all of the listed cases. The vehicle was recovered from the suspect’s house, where he lives with his parents.

The victims in these cases are females, ages ranging from 13 to 58 years. Thankfully, no victims were injured during the suspect’s crime spree.

The suspect is being held in custody for felony and misdemeanor charges related to all of these incidents. As we continue to investigate this suspect, we encourage the public to come forward if they have any information to offer about these or any other incidents.

************
The female victim was jogging along Dynamite Road when she passed a parked vehicle. The suspect exited the vehicle and grabbed the victim, dragging her backwards. The victim managed to fight her way free and call police as the male left the scene. A witness was able to follow the suspect vehicle which fled into a nearby neighborhood. The witness lost sight of the vehicle prior to police arrival. A search of the area did not turn up the suspect or vehicle. Police are working with the victim and witness to elicit further details. Updates will be made to this case as they are available.
