EIGHT RECRUITS GRADUATE 12-01 FIRE ACADEMY

Scottsdale Fire Department graduates eight recruits from the 12-01 Fire Academy tonight at a 5:30 pm ceremony in the Scottsdale Civic Center Library Auditorium, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
Members of the 12-01 Recruit Academy include:

Angela Gough
Christian McDaniel
Chad Preslar
Nic Spatt
Jarrett Stephens
Vince Tedesco
Brandon Thompson
The eight were selected out of the Tri-City Recruitment effort with Tempe and Chandler that involved almost 1500 firefighter hopefuls. They completed the 13-week academy this week and will begin their shift assignments on Friday, May 25.
Scottsdale Fire Department is a full service professional organization with highly-trained personnel who provide a wide variety of services to meet the health and safety needs of our residents and visitors. Scottsdale Fire employs approximately 258 people, of which more than 236 are firefighters.
