On 11/01/11 a vehicle was burglarized at 7900 E. Princess. From within the vehicle the victim’s purse and credit cards were taken. The victim’s credit cards were used at gas stations, convenience stores and drug stores in Scottsdale and NE Phoenix.
The 1st attached photo shows a subject who pulls up to a Chevron gas station at 15816 N. Pima in a yellow taxi and then utilizes the victim’s card from inside of the store. The additional photos are from the inside of a Shell station at 20210 N. Cave Creek in Phoenix where the suspect used the victim’s card again.
Any information on the crime or the individual in the photos can be given to the Scottsdale PD at 480-312-5000.
UPDATE:
Information was received that a subject fitting the description, driving a yellow taxi had been seen in the area of Mountain View around the 8400 Block on numerous occasions. Detectives went to the area and on 11/03/11 at 3:30 pm found the yellow cab and conducted a traffic stop, positively identifying Timothy Reilly as the subject from the surveillance photos. Evidence of the crime was found inside of the cab and Reilly was booked on counts of Burglary, Identity Theft and Forgery.
