||SPD was called to a serious single vehicle collision on Frank Lloyd Wright north of Cactus.
At 6:30 pm on Tuesday night a small Ford pickup occupied by an adult male driver and an adult female passenger was northbound and lost control, going off the road. It then rolled causing the vehicle to burst into flames. The female was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries as she was ejected from the truck. She was transported to SHC Osborn. The male suffered burns on his hands and feet then was airlifted to County Hospital.
Frank Lloyd Wright was closed from Cactus to Thunderbird for 3.5 hours. Cause has yet to be determined. However, alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
