Details: Lindstrom was observed by a witness travelling in excess of 100 mph northbound on the 101 Freeway in a Nissan sedan. He exited at Raintree and failed to negotiate the intersection of Raintree Road and the Access road. He lost control and struck a Honda minivan that was waiting at the intersection. After striking the minivan, Linsdtrom's vehicle went airborn onto the commercial property northeast of the intersection. His car struck a tree and stopped. Lindstrom sustained serious and life threatening injuries and was transported to SHC-Osborn for emergency treatment. His is currently in critical condition at the hospital.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this collision. The driver of the Honda minivan was not injured. The intersection was closed down for 4 hours while the investigators completed their investigation.
