UPDATE: SHUMWAY returned home on his own voalition at about 8PM this evening. He did not say where he was, but appeared unharmed.
Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man who may be in danger due to medical conditions. He is missing from the area of McDowell Mountain Ranch. Please take a look at the information below and call the Scottsdale Police Department if you know the whereabouts of this person.

Mr. Shumway's mother reported that the he was last seen sitting in the back yard of their residence 10848 E Meadowhill Dr. Scottsdale. at 8:30 PM. He is believed to have walked away from there to an unknown location. He is believed to be endangered due to the fact that he suffers from a variety of mental disorders and is reported by his mother to be delusional and possibly disoriented and in need of medications. He is not believed to be harmful to himself or others.
Officers performed an extensive ground and air search throughout the evening to locate Mr. Shumway, but have yet not located him.
