On Thursday morning at 6:35 AM, the suspect was seen exposing himself while masturbating in his vehicle at Hayden/McDonald in Scottsdale.
An adult male witness called 911 and reported that he and his (adult male) passenger were stopped at the light at Hayden/McDonald preparing to continue westbound. The were in a high profile truck and looked down into the open window of a Chevrolet Camaro, seeing the driver exposing himself and masturbating. They yelled over to him and he quickly placed a white towel over his groin area. The witness reported that there were some high school aged girls on the corner sidewalk, but he did not think they saw what the suspect was doing.
The witness followed the suspect as they drove west on McDonald and reported his location to police. Police were able to stop the suspect in his vehicle near Scottsdale Road and DoubleTree Ranch Road. After a brief interview, the suspect was arrested for indecent exposure and public sexual indecency. He did not admit to the public sexual indecency.
He was booked into Scottsdale City jail and release on criminal citation. The suspect has no other criminal history. |
