On 10/04/11 at 6:40 pm as an SPD sergeant was stopped at 8100 E. Indian Bend Rd for a tree branch in the roadway his patrol vehicle was struck from behind by a black Cadillac sedan being driven by a 23 year old female. The sergeant was seated in his vehicle with his emergency lights activated at the time of collision; he was then transported to SHC Osborn for his non life-threatening injuries and released shortly thereafter.
The investigation had Indian Bend closed from Hayden to 82nd Street. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this collision. The subject was booked on one count of Endangerment. |
