New Intersection Camera Added to Photo Enforcement Program

Event date: Wednesday, December 04, 2013, from 1:38 PM to 1:38 PM

The Scottsdale Police Department has recently worked with ATS to install a new photo enforcement site at Hayden and Chaparral. This equipment  adds to the existing intersection and fixed camera locations in the city that are there to monitor red light and speeding violations. There will be a 30 day grace period starting 12/3/2013, where traffic violators will be sent warning letters instead of actual citations.

Like the other locations, this site has also been selected after careful consideration with the City’s Traffic Engineering Department to maximize public safety. As with all of our Photo Enforcement efforts, the ultimate goal is safety for all who use our city streets.
