Details: The victim was working at the Wendy Payne Behavioral Center (7575 E. Earll Drive). He was outside on a break, standing on Earll Drive when he witnessed Wrock standing on his apartment patio overlooking Earl Drive. The victim saw Wrock holding a shotgun. Wrock walked towards his back wall of the patio and while facing the victim, he pumped the shotgun four times, holding the shotgun above the wall.  The victim, fearing for his life, retreated back inside his work and notified the police of what happened. When officers arrived they found Wrock was inside his apartment and would not come out to talk to officers.  Repeated attempts to get Wrock to come out were unsuccessful, with Wrock becoming verbally aggressive with officers. After a period of about 60 minutes, Wrock came out to his patio and looked over the wall for officers. He did not have the shotgun with him. Officers seized the opportunity to take Wrock into custody. He continued his noncompliance and was taken into custody after a brief struggle and Taser deployment. No injuries during the struggle.

During a search of the suspect's apartment, officers recovered the loaded shotgun, along with a rifle, pistol, several boxes of ammunition and other tactical equipment.

Wrock was booked into Scottsdale city jail where he is being held on charges of felony weapons misconduct, disorderly conduct and failure to obey officers.
